El aire de combustión se suministra mediante un soplante, por lo cual el proceso de combustión ya no depende tanto de condiciones ambientales como, p. ej., el tiro de la chimenea. Gracias al ajuste exacto, el quemador puede funcionar con un pequeño exceso de aire, alcanzando de esta manera un buen rendimiento de combustión.
Los quemadores de gas de aire soplado se pueden utilizar tanto para gas natural H/L o biogás como para gas licuado. Se diferencian en su conexión de gas con las mangueras de gas, los ajustes en el quemador y el regulador de presión.
