The theme of the 35th annual conference of the Catalysis Society of South Arica is “Using catalysis to solve the UN SDGs”. We are excited to welcome Prof Angeliki Lemonidou as the plenary speaker at the conference. As the first quarter of the 21st century slips into history, humanity is facing tough problems that will require a concerted effort to solve them. These are identified in the United Nation’s 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For human beings to have a chance at succeeding at averting these crises, we need everyone on board. The effort of catalysis scientists and engineers from all of the fields that comprise catalysis, will be required. This means that we need to align our research with developing the technologies required to solve the SDGs. Join us for stimulating discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking opportunities.
