The SKILLS - Media Center
In the SKILLS part, the GUNT Media Centre turns our basic technology projects into digital projects.
Hardware on an industrial level is combined with digital data packages.

Our assembly kits are designed for technical colleges and company training centres. The close link between theory and practice-based learning content is evident. The category of engineering drawing includes various collections of geometric models providing an introduction to technical drawing, as well as simple function models with a concrete technological application. Of these, four practice kits are intended for the development of fundamentals and two for a deeper technical understanding. In addition to smaller experimental units, the Skills Media Center also includes experimental plants. The teaching of digital skills in training students and professionals takes an essential part due to the increasing digitalisation of work processes in the context of Industry 4.0. GUNT DigiSkills learning projects can help you to meet the new requirements of education: digital skills are covered from basic to more advanced. The Skills Media Center includes all learning projects. The individual projects cover different devices and contain numerous additional exercises for all included devices. The DigiSkills 2 learning project provides comprehensive exercises on dimensional metrology. The learning level ranges from "beginner" to "expert". The learning project includes six didactically related practice kits. This learning project is based on » MT 174 Sorting plant including real operation processes. Three gearboxes are installed in the sorting plant, which will help us visualise the process steps of the entire learning project. The entire, closed process for replacing a gearbox covers 10 process steps, from notification of the maintenance action to the final report.

The Skills Media Center serves as the platform providing digital data for tablet, PC or smartphone via the internet. Customers can access files and product information of selected products independent of time and place. The data includes CAD files as STP or DXF files as well as PDF files and videos.

Digital competences
Our technology projects form the ideal basis for developing your students' digital skills in a targeted way. For this purpose, the following exercises are possible:
- Design exercises
The provided files can be edited with all common CAD systems. For example, the transmission ratio of a gear can be modified as an exercise.
- ERP system
The GUNT parts lists and drawings can be processed in an ERP system (Enterprise Resource Planning). This enables interdisciplinary tasks around production, e.g. from the areas of work planning or materials management.
- 3D printing or CNC manufacturing
The design data can be used for spare parts production by 3D printing and CNC manufacturing technology.
The SCIENCE - Media Center
In the SCIENCE part, the GUNT Media Center combines classical learning content with digital content and methods.
Hardware with didactic criteria is complemented by digital data packages.
