This protective cover is available as an accessory for the WP 400 experimental unit. The oscillating hammer or a breaking specimen in the Charpy notched bar impact test represent a potential hazard. Therefore the protective cover is strongly recommended as a safety device when carrying out notched bar impact tests.
The protective cover is bolted in place on the WP 400 experimental unit and forms a protected working area for conducting experiments. A door in the protective cover allows access to the working area. Two handles make it easier to transport the experimental unit.
